This week at the Student Commons we have started framing as well as finishing up waterproofing behind all of the retaining walls. After the waterproofing was finished we started and are now almost complete with the backfill behind the walls. We also have installed all of the underdrains behind all the retaining walls to help with drainage. The concrete walls have all been stripped and are currently being touched up. Next week will consist of a lot of framing, some site maintenence to help make our space more efficient and continue to backfill behind the trash enclosure walls.
Fine Arts Buildings
A lot has been going on at the Fine Arts. We have completed the ledgers and floor joists and have started the plywood on the Ceramics/Digital Media floor. We have also backfilled around all of the footings inside the footprint of the building and prepared to start the underfloor rough-in process for the MEP trades next week. Also the framing will continue.
