At the Student Commons we have finished up the lower wall framing and have begun the low roof framing at the wings of the building. Also we have begun to layout for the large roof truss and will begin constructing those next week. Also we have tied into the MMWD domestic waterline and backfilled that excavation. We have tested out the lines and will do the final connections and backfill next week. The landscaper has brought on a number of trees and has begun to plant a number of them on the hillside. Also the steel platform for the main kitchen mechanical unit was installed.
Fine Arts Building
At the Fine Arts this week we finished up the underfloor waste and water for the ceramics and music buildings. Also we finished up the underfloor rough-in for electrical at the music room. The framing is continuing and we have all the outside walls up at the ceramics building and we will finish up all of the other remaining walls and start on the roof next week. As well as getting the underfloor electrical in at the ceramics building. We also finished backfilling all of the open trenches which included the fireline and other utilities between the two buildings. The landscaper has also begun to clear and grub much of the site.
