Weeks of 6/29 and 7/6

Student Commons/Site

At the student commons we have finished up the Renlita Doors and started on the interior trim. The topping slab preparation has started and we will have the first of our two interior pours on Monday. All of the glazing is installed as well as all of the kitchen equipment. On the exterior of the building we have finished our plaster work and also all of the PV panels are up and installed on the roof. The gas meter has been set so all we are waiting on is the water meter to be set this week and we will have all three utilities to the building.

On the site we have finished forming and pouring the new vertical and flush curb up park drive. At the lower parking lot we are done with all of the underground work with the exception of the rain garden which will continue soon.

Fine Arts Buildings/Site

At the fine arts buildings we have finished up all of the casework and trim. The interior paint has a prime and first coat on. They are preparing to paint the exterior of the building this coming week. The mechanical flues have been run for the water heaters and boiler. The acoustical wall panels are in progress and should finish up this week.

On the site around the fine arts buildings the landscaping paths are underway and the concrete pathways are being graded and should be formed up this week. The storm drain was placed around the buildings and site. The new electrical service was terminated and the switchgear and transformer were set at the back of New House.

Tallant Science Center/Quad

At tallant the past two weeks we have finished all demolition on the interior and exterior of the building. All of the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing trades are doing their preliminary rough-in work and should finish up this coming week. We are about 50% installed with all the new windows and about 100% on all the framing and seismic work. Last week we started demo of the concrete apron around the building in preparation for the plaster and concrete work. This coming week we will begin the Quad demolition.

Richardson Hall

At Richardson Hall the past two weeks we have finished demolition and shoring of the exterior wall. Also we have dug and prepared the footings and curb to be poured this coming week.
