Week of 6/8

Student Commons

At the student commons this week we are about 75% done with the upper roof. We have poured most of the front and rear concrete as seen in the pictures below. In the kitchen we are done with the tile and FRP on the walls as well as the kitchen grease duct. We are also mostly done with the bathroom tile work. All of the exterior windows are installed and sealed. Next week we will start installing the storefronts and kitchen equipment. The ceiling will also start to be installed next week. On the exterior we will begin the stucco as we are now signed off on our lath and plaster.





Fine Arts Buildings

At the fine arts this week we finished both roofs completely. We have also finished all of the siding and exterior trim work. All of the toilet fixtures in the bathroom have been installed. We have fine graded the front of both building in preparation of starting the concrete walkways next week. We have also finished most of the casework and interior trim and are 95% done with the ceilings. Next week we will be installing the hardwood floor at the music builing and finishing up the casework and trim in the ceramics and digital media rooms.
